How To Avoid a Guy Who Likes You That Thinks You Like Him


  • Tell him you don't like him. This step may be the only one you need!
  • Pretend that he doesn't exist. If he stares at you, act like you can't see him. In other words, ignore him. Completely.
  • Forbid your friends to give him your personal info. e.g Telephone number, MSN address, email address etc.
  • If he tries to stand next to you, keep moving. Or go to the loo/restroom, where he can't possibly follow you unless he's a stalker.
  • If you want to put him down, pretend your looking at him,this will get him all excited. Then, pretend to spot someone/something behind him. This will make him disappointed as he will think you don't even know he exists, which will mean that he will stop thinking that you like him. This is harsh, only do this if necessary.
  • Stay away from him as much as possible. If you have a class with him, sit far away. If you are forced to be with him for a project or extracurricular activity with a lot of other people, pretend he doesn't exist. If you cannot possibly avoid him,tell him to leave you alone or tell whoever is in charge about your "problem" and ask them to steer him away from you in partner projects, or have them inform him that you aren't comfortable. This is embarrassing, but almost always works.
  • Or, whenever your friends talk about him, make fun of him, just a bit. like saying "remember when John fell and couldn't get up? I think he needs life alert" or "Remember when Danny got the math question wrong? he started crying like a baby! wimp!" He might back off a bit, because this may make him think you are joking with one of your friends who likes him. he'll think he had it all wrong. Unfortunetly, he might fall for one of your friends.
  • If he keeps on flirting with you like hitting you in the head or mess with your hair, then simply turn around and tell him to STOP! He will start to think that you are getting annoyed with him.
  • Smile when he's upset about you not liking him. this has a powerful impact.


  • Sometimes it can go too far; be sure to tell a parent or adult person if you think he is stalking you.
  • One of the reasons he will think you like him is because you keep glancing at him; you're only peeking at him to make sure he's not staring at you! So you have two options; 1. Accept that he's into you and will probably be staring at you until his eyeballs burn through the back of his skull. 2. Just make sure that he doesn't catch you checking up on him. This can be embarrassing.


  • Doing step number four can backfire, you can end up having two guys hot on your tail. Or, you could flirt with 10 boys at the same time!
  • Be sure to tell an adult if it gets too serious. e.g if he's following you everywhere, then he could be a stalker
  • Don't ignore them completely because you don't want to go out with them. That's just plain mean.
  • If your friends know that he likes you and they think that you like him even if you say no, then they might set you up with him. Just say to your friends that you simply don't like the guy and for him to move on.

10 Tips to Prevent Breast Cancer

There is a 1 in 8 chance of developing breast cancer in your life, but hopefully with this plan the odds will change. Although there are many drugs on the market and much research is being done, the odds of a woman getting cancer in her lifetime aren't shrinking.

It seems that diet has a lot to do with the handling of this disease and it is something we can definitely control. Diet has be proven to be the most effective way to reduce your risk. There are many other suggestions such as exercise but today we will focus on 10 simple ways you can change your diet and start protecting yourself today.

1. Reduce your Fat - Limit your fat intake by 20 percent of your overall caloric intake. Research has proven that a diet high in fat will increase the risk of breast cancer. High fat diets have also been proven to produce chemicals in the intestine that bacteria convert to carcinogenic estrogens. These estrogens can then be stored in the fatty tissue of the breast, making the cells in the area more susceptible to cancer growth.

2. Choose Crunchy Veggies - Eat plenty of cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, turnips and cauliflower. It is best to steam them or eat them raw to best preserve their cancer fighting nutrients. These types of vegetables contain sulfurous compounds called indoles, which have shown to help eliminate estrogen from the body and prevent it from triggering the growth of breast cancer.

3. Increase your Fiber - Get plenty of fiber from foods such as vegetables and fruits, legumes and whole grains. The fiber tends to interrupt the metabolism of estrogen and decreases the blood levels of estrogen. The high levels of blood estrogen in the body are close in relation to higher risk of breast cancer. High fiber diets have been shown to reduce the risk of of breast cancer by up to 54 percent.

4. Try Seaweed- Try eating seaweeds such as kelp and nori or consider taking spirulina (blue algae) and chlorella in a glass of juice daily. High consumptions of kelp may explain the lower incidence of breast cancer in Japanese women. Kelp and chlorella have shown to have anti-carcinogenic effects.

5. Soy Secret - It is smart to eat soy products such as tofu, miso or tempeh. Soybeans and other soy products contain a plant estrogen called genistein. This plant estrogen binds to receptors in the breast, making it impossible for potentially cancer causing forms of estrogen to connect with breast cells.

6. Shop organic - Buy organic foods such as fruits, vegetables, meates, dairy and grains when ever possible. Organic products do not contain pesticides that have been linked to breast cancer. Dairy products and meats that are certified organic do not contain any growth hormones, such as bovine, a chemical usually fed to cows. This chemical has been shown to promote the growth of breast cancer cells.

7. Eat Fish - Eat at least 3 servings of cold water fish a week. Some cold water fish are tuna, salmon, halibute, cod and sardines. If you can't eat fish you can take fish oil capsules or vegetarian supplements. The omega-3 oils inhibit the effects of compounds known as prostaglandins. Prostaglandins have been associated with inflammation that will suppress the immune systems's ability to identify tumors. A higher consumption of fish and fish oil has been found to reduce the cases of cancer.

8. Choose the right oils - Avoid canola oil, safflower oil, sesame oil and margarine. It is best to use virgin and extra-virgin olive oil when cooking. Flaxseed oil is also very wise to use as long as it is not heated; can be added to foods already cooked. Olive oil, a monounsaturated fat has been linked to lower rates of cancer. Trans fats also called hydrogenated oils mainly found in margarine have been linked with high rates of cancer.

9. Add phytonutrients to your diet - Introduce nuts, legumes, seeds as well as fruits and a variety of vegetables to your diet. These particular foods contain phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are plant compounds that protect against cellular damage and prevent cancer growth. Cooking with herbs such as dill, which contains a phytochemical called limonene, is important for breast protection and rosemary has antioxidant and anti-tumor properties.

10. Mushrooms - Mushrooms have medicinal properties. Some medicinal mushrooms include the Japanese variety of shiitake and maitake. Studies have shown that maitake mushrooms actually stimulate the immune function and prevent tumor growth. The ingredients in maitake mushrooms do not kill the cancer cells directly, it activates the immune system protecting against breast cancer. Shitake mushrooms have also been found to boost the immune system.

Unhealthy Relationship - What sign should you look out for?

What are the signs that tell you you're in an unhealthy relationship and what can you do about them? This article will give you some examples of the kind of situations you need to be aware of and what action you need to take to resolve these issues.

Lack of communication
Warning sign: lack of communication really is the biggest issue of all in any relationship. Many people remain in an unhealthy relationship even though they know that they should get out. One of the reasons that stops them walking away, other than having children, is the fear of being on their own again. But what these people don't realize is that by staying in the relationship and living in an environment full of negative feelings, they are damaging themselves and the others around them. What Is True Love?

 Love is an intense feeling that can easily be confused. You've been together for a while now. That euphoric, queasy, pit-of-the-stomach, sign of true love has settled down only slightly and you know this is your one and only love, your heart's desire.

     You can't imagine life without your partner. In fact, you won't ever consider it. The very thought is more than just upsetting; its devastating. The very thought of him or her with anyone else but you sends into frenzy. You feel empty and sick at the thought of not being together. Without your lover, there are no you. This is true love!

   Or is it? If this sound like what you are experiencing, it may be this is a love addiction or not love itself. What's the difference? Simply stated, love exists in an open system; addiction in a closed one. Let's take a look at what that means.

     In a fully loving relationship, mutuality and trust are the themes. Each partner is secure in his and her own sense of worth and believes the other has a right to grow and expand. Each encourages and provide room for that growth.

     This means that while you and your partner share many things, you may very well have separate interests and other friends of both sexes. Neither of you is threatened by the investment in and maintenance of meaningful friendship, realizing that each friendship enriches your love relationship. It also means both of you have th ability to enjoy your own solitary company, that being alone is not about rejecting the lover but a recognition that each is o whole person, not two halves of a whole, with your own unique needs and patterns of living.

     Secure in each other's love, you are able to respect each other's boundaries. Each is trusting and trustworthy. You both work at preserving the others sense of integrity. Most of all, there is a willingness to risk you in the relationship, to be real, to be honest. In short, the hallmark of a loving relationship is the ability to be true to oneself while honoring and respecting the others unique being.

Even though attending class and completing assignments is a top priority for most students, many find that they are not allowing enough time for their studies. On the average, students should spend about2 hours of study for each hour of class time. For example, if you are carrying 12 credits in a semester, you should allow 24 hours per week for study (this includes time for reading, writing papers, preparing projects, and for test preparation).

   If you are finding it difficult to locate the time you need to study, or that there are conflicts among the various demands on your time, you may need to give greater consideration to your goals. By getting clear on your goals, it will be easier to decide how to spend your time.    Once you have found the time to study, commit to a time and place that meets your needs. In order to do this, ask yourself whether the environment in which you are studying matches your learning style and preferences. Based on your preferences, you should schedule your most challenging classes and intense study sessions in the environments that best match your needs. The following are some aspects of study environment you may need to consider.

Time of day: 
Whenever possible, you should schedule your most challenging courses and most intense study sessions during the time of day when you are most alert. Ask yourself if you are more alert/productive during the morning, mid-day, or evening and schedule accordingly.

Do you prefer to learn or study alone, in small groups, or in large classes? If your prefer small groups, do not sign up for large classes. Try to get into classes where the instructor uses group activity as a teaching strategy. Form study groups to prepare for tests and exams.

Some people prefer to sit at a table or desk (formal posture) in order to concentrate and study effectively. Others are able to learn more easily while sitting comfortably on a sofa or lying on the floor (informal). Still others need to move about in order to learn, and reading while walking on a treadmill might be appropriate. Further, some people have the ability to sit and study for long periods of time (high persistence), while others need to take frequent breaks (low persistence). Other studies have shown that reading ability can be affected by the light contrast between print and paper color. There is a high contrast between black letters printed on white paper. Some people find it easier to read black print on blue or gray paper which has less contrast and is easier on their eyes. Being aware that light does make a difference, you should study in the environment that best matches your learning preferences.

While you can't always control the temperature of a room, you should be aware of your preference for either a cool or warm environment. Dress in layers so that you can adjust to differences in classroom temperatures. Choose to study in the environments in which you feel most comfortable.

Control Your Reactions and Responses
   There are 3 basic differences in the reactions of optimists and pessimists. The first difference is that the optimists sees setback as temporary, while the pessimists sees it as permanent. The optimists sees an unfortunate event, such as an order that falls through or a sales call that fails, as a temporary event, something that is limited in time and that has no real impact on the future. The pessimists on the other hand, sees negative events as permanent, as part of life and destiny.

   The second difference between the optimists and the pessimists is that the optimists sees difficulties as specific, while the pessimists sees them pervasive. This means that when things go wrong for the optimists, he or she looks at the event as an isolated incident largely disconnected from other things that are going on in their life.

See Setbacks as Temporary Events
   For example, if something you were counting on failed to materialize and you interpreted it to yourself as being an unfortunate event, but something that happens in the course of life and business, you would be reacting like an optimists. The pessimists, on the other hand, sees disappointments as being pervasive. That is, to him or her they are indications of a problem or shortcoming that pervades every area of life.

Don't Take Failure Personally
   The fourth differences is that optimists see events as external, while pessimists interpret events as personal. When things go wrong, the optimists will tend to see setback as resulting from external factors over which one has little control. If the optimist is cut off in traffic, for example, instead of getting angry or upset, he will simply downgrade the importance of the event by saying something like, "Oh, well I guess that person is just having a bad day". The pessimists on the other hand, has a tendency to take everything personally. If the pessimists is cut off in the traffic, he will react as though the other driver has deliberately acted upset and frustrate him.

Remain Calm and Objective
   The hallmark of the fully mature, fully functioning, self actualizing personality is the ability to be objective and unemotional when caught up in the inevitable storms of daily life. The superior person has the ability to continue talking to himself in a positive and optimistic way, keeping his mind calm, clear and completely under control. The mature personality is more relaxed and aware and capable of interpreting events more realistically and less emotionally than is the immature personality. As a result a mature person exerts a far greater sense of control and influence over his environment, and is far less likely to be angry, upset or distracted.

Take a Long View
   Look upon the inevitable setbacks that you face as being temporary, specific and external. View the negative situation as a single event that is not connected to other potential events and that is caused largely by external factors over which you can have a little control. Simply refuse to see the event as being in any way permanent, pervasive or indicative of personal incompetence of inability. Resolve to think like an optimist, no matter what happens. You may not be able to control events but you can control the way you react to them.

Action Exercises
   Now, here are 3 actions you can take immediately to put these idea into actions. First, remind yourself continually that setbacks are only temporary, they will soon be past and nothing is as serious as you think it is. Second look upon each problem as a specific event, not connected to other events and not indicative of a pattern of any kind. Deal with it and get on with your life. Third, recognize that when things go wrong, they usually caused by variety of external events. Say to yourself, "What can't be cured must be endured", and then get back to thinking about your goals.

10 Things That Kill Motivation

No Goals

   Without goals, you really don't need motivation. I mean, what in the world would you do with it? Run around the circles? Many people complain about not being motivated to do anything. The majority of time, it's because they don't have any goals that excite them enough to do anything.

   This is big one. When we set out to achieve somethings and things don't go as planned, we feel this thing we called failure. It could specifically be feelings like disapointment, embarrassment or overwhelm. Knowing what to do when this happens to get your motivation back is critical.

Negative People
   One comment of discouragement is often enough to kill any motivation some people may have. People who constantly make negative comments directed towards you should be avoided if you want to maintain your motivation.

Negative News
   Bad news sell. If you focus too much on the bad things that are happening in this world, that may suck the motivation right out of you. No matter how good things are, the media will always have something bad to report. Try to focus on what's good instead.

Low Energy
   Being fits plays a big role in your motivation. When you barely have enough to move around and do stuff, your motivation will suffer greatly. A good diet and exercise regimen will help that.

   It can come from anywhere. These are the things that tend to throw our focus off course. If you stay off course for too long, you motivation will deteriorate.

Not Taking Actions
   When you don't take action towards your goals, your motivation will die of fast. Often times, people will sets a goal, make all these plan, and then wait for the right time to start. Times like the first of the month, after the holidays, New Years, when summer starts, etc. Once you have a goal, you must take action right away, even if it's on a Tuesday.

Lack of Belief in Yourself
   You could be inspired and motivated by a book you read or a movie you see to go out there and make your dreams a reality, but if you don't believe you can pull it off, you will eventually stop. You must truly believe you can achieve your goals, otherwise, you'll soon start doubting yourself and when you do, kiss your motivation good-bye.

   There will be goals that require you to take repetitive actions that may slowly kill your motivation. If you find running to be extremely uninteresting to you and your goals is to lose weight, that's a formula for failure. Change up your strategy if necessary and where possible, hire someone else to do certain mundane tasks for you.

Lack of Support
   Often when we feel like no one is behind us, during the tough times, our motivation will fade. Having people who will encourage you is great motivation booster. They can also help increase your belief in yourself.

By becoming aware of these 10 things that kill motivation, you can better prepare yourself to deal with these ahead of time, or when they occur, in order to keep your motivation alive. Being able to keep your motivation up will eventually lead you achieving your goals.

Advice on Attracting Positive Habits

People do not attract that which they want, but that which they are
   To put it another way: When you stop working on what it is you're trying to get, and start working on you, only then will you get what it is you want.

   It really is very basic when you think about it. To attract attractive people, you must be attractive. To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them, you go to work on yourself. If you become, you can attract.

   I know so many people who work very hard and diligently and sacrifice greatly in an effort to create wealth. But they haven't change who they are, and until they begin to think and act like wealthy people they'll never attract the wealth they seek. Wealthy people don't think and act the way they do because they have wealth. They have wealth because they think and act that way.

    How many people are on diet today who don't stand a chance of losing any weight because they are still the same person who gained all that weight to start with. Let me repeat again, so you'll grasp how important this is: Slim people don't think and act the way they do because they are slim. They're slim because they think and act that way.

   To get what you want , you change who you are, and you change who you are by simply changing the way you think and act. And one technique for doing that which is promoted by a lot of wise teachers is to 'act as if'. If you 'act as if' you're slim log enough , then one day you will attract slimness even though you may be 100 pounds overweight today.

   If you act as if you're wealthy long enough, then one day you will attract all the wealth you can imagine even though you may this moment be destitute and homeless. Before you can do something, you first must be something. And that's worth thinking about.

Lesson From Competitors

   It is important to realize that we can't successfully compete with everyone on every facet of business or life. If i were to come to town or city and ask you which is the best restaurant in the area, you would likely ask a number of questions such as: What kind of food do you want? How much do you want to spent? Do you want something quick? Are you looking for an entire evening-long dining experience?

   If we consider automobiles, the least expensive and most expensive cars on the market both have something to offer to certain customer. Oftentimes, we need to determine what our competitors do well and then consider whether or not we want to compete on that particular aspect of our product or services.

   Expensive luxury cars may be comfortable, more stylish and safer while compact, low priced vehicles are fuel efficient and less expensive to own and operate. Both automobile companies can be excellent at what they do, but they can't be everything to everybody.

   There is a somewhat outdated business principle know as line extension. Line extension is the nation that, because a company or its product have name recognition, they can add new products and succeed by using the same name. Line extension would tell us that McDonalds should be able to succeed in fine dining or Mercedes could get into the low-ended economy car market. In reality, they would not necessarily succeed in the new venture and would, quite likely, damage their core business.

   In business or in life, we've got to pick our battles and select our priorities. If we are to succeed at the highest level, we are going to have focus on a limited number of elements. Rarely do you see anyone succeed simultaneously in two different ventures of fields. To compete against the best in the world, you've got to put forth your best effort which is totally focused and undiluted.

Believe, Believe, Believe!
   Have unwavering faith in yourself, for good or bad. Make the decision to accept the fact that you create all your experiences. You will experience successes thanks to you, and you will experience pain, struggle and strife thanks to you. Sounds a little strange right? but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely empowering. It means you can do, and be everything. Stumbling blocks become just that-little hills to hop over.

Take no less than 100% responsibility.
   Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the action they take. They don't waste their time and energy blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

Stop complaining
   Look at what you are complaining about. I'm fat. I'm tired. I can't get out debt. I won't ever get a better job. I can't stand the relationship with my sister. I'l never find soul-mate in life. Really examine your complaints. More than likely you can do something about them. They are not about other people, other things or other events. They are about YOU.

Make an immediate change.
   Are you unhappy about something that is happening now? Make requests that will make it more desirable to you, or take the steps to change yourself. Making a change might be uncomfortable for you. It might mean you have to put in more time, money and effort. It might mean that someone gets upset about it, or make you feel bad about your decision. It might be difficult to change or leave a situation, but staying put is your choice so why continue to complaint?
   You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice and have responsiblity for your choices.

Pay attention!
   Looking to others for help and guidance id helpful, but don't forget to stay tuned in to yourself - your behavior, attitude and life experiences. Identify what's working and what isn't. If you need to, write it all down.

Face the truth and take action for the long term.
   You have to be willing to change your behavior if you want a different outcome. You have to be willing to take risks necessary to get what you want. If you've already taken an initial step in the right direction, now's the time to plan additional steps to keep moving you forward, faster.
   Isn't it a great relief to know that you can make your life what you want it to be? Isn't it wonderful that your successes do not depend on someone else?

   If you need just one thing to do different today, than you did yesterday, make it this: Commit to taking 100% responsibility for every aspect of your life. Decide to make changes, one step at a time. Once you start the process you'll discover it's much easier to get what you want by taking control of your thoughts, your visualizations and your actions.

Beauty and femininity goes hand in hand. Every woman loves to look beautiful. It is not that only those woman who feel they are ugly want to know how to become beautiful. Even beautiful women wish to become more beautiful. For this, they make a lot of effort to improve their physical appearance. They spend so much of time in selecting the right skin cream, eye makeup, clothing, etc. However, all these beauty products will help to make them beautiful only temporarily. For a permanent effect, you should learn to make yourself beautiful from within.

Here are some tips to be beautiful :

Seek beauty around you.
How do you define beauty? As you go through your day, try to make note of things and people that strike you as beautiful: art, the sky, someone's freckles. If you can, write them down. Find your beauty. Try to understand what makes them beautiful to you. They may not be beautiful to others, but that's why beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

recognize the beauty in yourself. Look in the mirror and search for beauty. By now, you've probably noticed that the most beautiful things in life are often subtle and hidden. The same goes for the beauty you hold. Maybe you have smooth, well-proportioned hands, or a flawless forehead, or perfectly-shaped shoulders. Whatever it is, it's yours--revel in it.

Enhance your physical beauty. Looking beautiful is all about emphasizing those features in you that are already beautiful. There are millions of ways to do this, as there are millions of potentially beautiful features on a single body. The important thing is to experiment with accentuating that beauty until you can look at your reflection and feel like you've given your beauty the representation it deserves.

Develop your inner beauty. There are plenty of so-called beautiful people out there who lie, cheat, steal, and even kill. Their beauty never lasts, but yours can. Byfinding yourself and building your character through integrity, you can be beautiful both on the inside and on the outside. Better yet, your inner beauty will always emanate and never fade, wrinkle, or turn gray.

Create beauty outside of yourself. Now that you see beauty and you are beautiful (as you always have been, but now know it), it's time to make beauty. Art is a very popular emulation of beauty, but it's possible to inject beauty into everything you do (your work, how you interact with people, and the way you decorate your room, for example). This is an extremely satisfying pursuit that will not only make the world a more beautiful place, but it will also bring your quest for beauty full circle.

Avoid Negative Energy: Do not be envious of others for their name, fame, looks, abilities, financial status or any other reason. Also, do not speak negatively about other people. In this way, you will be able to be satisfied with yourself and that will get radiated from your personality, and you will find a glow from within. You will come across many people in your life who are always busy in picking your faults. You have no control over such people. So the best way to avoid them is to stay away from those people.

Do Not Criticize Yourself: We all have an inner critic lying within ourselves who tend to make us look down upon ourselves. It often creates doubt in our mind about our appearance, confidence, talents and so on. However, it is an important job on your part to discourage such thoughts. Thus, you can prevent yourself from being your own enemy.

Accept Your Flaws: Do not think too much about those aspects of your looks that you do not like. If you, yourself can accept them, then you will observe that you are not much bothered when other people are pointing at those flaws. Keep your focus on the things that you like doing and move ahead in life.

Follow Your Passion: Identify one such thing that you love to do the most. It could be taking care of your kids, solving crossword puzzles or any such thing that makes you forget the time. Be involved in that activity for few hours at least once a day or once a week. You will find that it helps to rejuvenate the spirits within you.

Thus, you see when you are interested to know how to become beautiful, it requires a lot of commitment from your side. You should focus more in improving your overall personality, how you carry yourself and how you portray yourself in front of people. Why Women Need Attention

Ever wonder why women need attention? Do you find this emotional need frustrating? Does it seem silly?

There is a very strong evolutionary purpose for women needing attention. Perhaps if this need were better understood, couples would be more comfortable with it.

A few million years ago, our primate ancestors were developing their sexual strategies... or how they would best get their DNA passed on for future generations. Of course they were not consciously thinking about a stategy but it was certainly the essence of behavior and existence.

Some females (those who ended up having a better strategy), discovered that if they could mate with a male who would stay around, they would have protection, investment in their offspring, and even additional food. 

But how does do primates, without written or oral language figure out who would stick around or not? They look for signs or clues. 

The males who were attentive, and could show or express in some way their desire to stick around were the males the females would trust and with whom they would mate. Those males who did not show attention, were less likely to find a long term partner who would want to mate with them.

Females became highly instinctively sensitive to these attentiveness clues. If a male was attentive, she would mate with him. If he was not, she would not.

Today, we have language which can be used to express devotion and attention so men can verbally express their feelings and emotions. But the underlying need for attention and devotion is still operating in humans.

It is important to remember that there is a very clear and powerful instictual reason why women must feel important and loved in a relationship prior to engaging in physical intimacy.
